The upgrade of 9-20-1970 is a one stop shop, for the best early (available) Ripple - better than the subsequent ones immediately following since it has a nice mandolin accompaniment, and a sincere tone as well....
plus, this show has a strong Brokedown Palace, and a decent Attics of My Life - the studio version may be the best, but this one's ok... and Attics sounds to me like it was influenced by "French Girl" by either Ian and Sylvia or the better version of "French Girl" by The Daily Flash, who played a few bills at the Avalon and may have shared a bill or two with the GD...

Check out the Ripple that is played as an encore on 09-03-1988...fantastic moment...once the audience picks up on the tune, the place goes bonkers then quiet real fast...

Wharf Rat--09-28-1972 is as good as it gets pre 75', 12-02-1973 is another good early version, 07-18-1976 and 07-08-1978 are classic mid-late 70s versions, 05-06-1981, 06-20-1983 (lightening strikes stage set and Phil responds accordingly)06-20-1987, 08-19-1989 and 09-22-1993 could round that out...
